The Daily Show host has come out strongly against the killing of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile by police officers in the US.
Noah, who has previously commented on the racial tension in America, saying that it is something that "is present" broached the topic of Black Lives Matter on his show.
He said that many people are of the view that if you are pro Black Lives Matter, you can't be pro police.
"The hardest part of having a conversation around police shootings in America, it always feels like in America, if you take a stand for something you are automatically against something else."
He also commented on the fact that many people don't think that what is happening in America is a problem.
"What makes these instances even more painful is the fact that there are some people who don't even think this police problem exists."
He went on to poke fun at what police say post an incident of shooting an innocent person, mocking the fact that they always defend what happened.
At least one sniper in Dallas killed five police officers and wounded seven more in a coordinated attack that ended when police used a bomb to kill a shooter who told them he wanted to kill white officers, authorities said Friday.
The attack came during one of several protests across the United States against the killing of two black men by police this week, the latest in a long string of killings across the country.
