It is really a sad time in SA, as some of the same political party with President Zuma wants him to step down..

Defenders of the African National Congress (ANC) gathered at Beyers Naude Sqaure were they vowed to do everything in their power to prevent disgruntled party members from occupying Luthuli House.

Speaking to TMG Digital‚ Ishmael Mofokeng - of Ward 111 in KwaThema‚ Ekurhuleni - said those calling for President Jacob Zuma to step down should follow proper procedures.
"The reason we are here is because other members of the ANC believe that President Jacob Zuma has made some mistakes and‚ yes‚ we have seen those mistakes‚ but we want them to follow the procedures. They should carry themselves like disciplined ANC members because we have laws in the party‚” said Mofokeng.
“Maybe Zuma stepping down is not such a bad idea‚ but let’s allow the movement to follow processes. Conferences will be held‚ but we will not allow acts of barbarism to unfold in our presence‚” added Mofokeng‚ who was dressed in ANC regalia.
Members of the Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans' Association‚ South African Police Service‚ Johannesburg Metro Police Department as well as ANC security personnel and bodyguards for party officials were positioned outside the party's headquarters.
Half a dozen police trucks stood ready to roll out coils of razor wire around Luthuli House as officers braced themselves for the #OccupyLuthuli House campaign‚ which organisers earlier on Monday said would be toned down following threats its supporters had allegedly received.
