A businessman was kidnapped in broad daylight from the Beacon Bay Retail Park.
According to the Daily Dispatch Mr J Chen, parked his BMW X5 in front of two banks at the centre at 9.31am on 2 November.
He stepped out of his car, planning to deposit R230,000, when a well-built assailant knocked him to his knees.
The attacker handed the money bag to his accomplice, who casually walked to the back door of the BMW.
Chen was then grabbed by the scruff of his neck and bundled into the hijacked vehicle, which almost collided with another car on its way out of the centre.
Chen was later dumped at Amalinda, his car was recovered in Southernwood on Wednesday November 4.
Chen has opened a hijacking and robbery case at Beacon Bay police station. No arrests have been made
